MANAGEMENT BIO:

Beth Lockwood is a native New Yorker with a strong passion for her city and offers her clients over eighteen years of industry experience. 

Twenty years ago Beth’s dream was to work in the hospitality industry, traveling around the world meeting people and learning about different cultures. On her path to fulfilling her dream Ms. Lockwood had one of her first jobs working at the legendary Warwick Hotel in New York City. Soon after she landed a position in the New York based sales office of a large Mexican hotel chain where she spent several years as a Group Sales Manager and traveled extensively throughout Mexico. Beth absolutely fell in love with the country and eventually accepted a position as International Director of Sales for a prestigious Destination Management Company in the beautiful resort of Cancun, Mexico where she lived abroad for 2 years - and a wonderful two years it was. But the driving pulse and excitement of NYC called her back home where for six years she worked for a leading Destination Management & Special Event Company in New York City. After a long career under the direction of some of the industries finest, Beth opened DETAILS NYC in 2002 offering her expertise as a Destination Management Specialist in New York City.

Beth has planned and managed incentive programs, meetings & special interest groups from the elegant Rainbow Room in New York City to the rural Mayan jungles in Mexico for some of the world's most recognized corporations. She is currently an active member of MPIGNY (Greater New York Chapter of Meeting Professionals International) and is a very strong believer in the organization.

Personal Overview…
Beth has spent many years traveling extensively throughout the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico studying and photographing the people and art of the Mayan culture. When she is not planning events, she volunteers her time assisting the elderly in the New York Metropolitan area. And, she would love to hear from you.
